Latticed •

A 92 meter tall lattice tower appeared in Millwall Park this week which is so tall it even has its own lift to carry people up to the top level.

It’s broadcast infrastructure for the Olympic Arena events in Greenwich Park on the other side of the river. It has a brother on the south side, near the top of the hill by the Greenwich Observatory.

On Sunday cables will be drawn across the river between the two towers to allow attached cameras to film downwards into the Olympic Arena.
